Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. Usage data: We collect information about how you use the platform — including which stocks you research, features you use, and general usage patterns. Payment information: If you subscribe to Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details — Stripe handles all payment data securely. Watchlist and portfolio data: If you use our Watchlist or Portfolio Analyzer, we store the stocks and holdings you enter in order to provide those features.

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, operate, and improve Cipher • Manage your account and subscription • Enforce usage limits on the free plan • Send important account and service notifications (not marketing spam) • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

Cipher uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices: • Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy) • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy) • Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered analysis. Your stock queries may be processed by Anthropic's API (anthropic.com/privacy) • Yahoo Finance & Financial Modeling Prep — market data sources • Vercel — website hosting • Railway — backend infrastructure

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@officialcipher.com.

Cipher uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as your watchlist). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase, an industry-standard platform. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cipher is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Cipher after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
